Say Magazine is a national paper that runs monthly across Canada. When we were approached by Say Mag to do an article about our work with Attawapiskat first nations we were thrilled to get the chance. The article goes into detail about the struggle EHL had and how we overcame it. We essentially built twenty-two homes in less than two weeks and had them on the tracks and up to moosonee waiting for the ice road a few days after. It wasn't an easy job and we could not have done it without the help of valuable companies that with their extra effort as well we finished on time. Today EHL has helped donate over $80,000 dollars in furniture for the homes up in Attawapiskat and we haven't stopped there. I will let you dive into the rest of the article below after the break.
Architect of the year is something home builders like us dream of. So in 2004 when we were awarded the Architect of year award we were floored. With the amazing ultra-modern home designed and built for Butch Orser in Penetanguishene its a stunning accomplishment and we are very proud of it. Its now 2012 and we have grown greatly since then, with the year starting off great we couldn't think it would get any better. So when we got a call saying EHL has won yet again for Architech of the year for 2012 it has made this year a year to remember. There is a complete tour of both homes after the break and we would like to give a special thanks to Barbara for letting us show off the home.
